Version 3.0.1 - 3.0.8 - 5/6/2022

A bunch of minor releases have been pushed out since our newest 3.0 launch. These have mostly been cosmetic to help fix issues with UI/UX. Though there are a couple items added in that have been more feature rich.

CloudFormation Stack Compare

The stack compare is a new feature that allows you to compare CloudFormation stacks from different AWS accounts, or between AWS and LocalStack. This can be very useful in making sure that stacks match across different environments or for trying to diagnose why something might be working in one environment but not another.

Below you can see an example of us comparing the dev and staging environments of the Commandeer backend. You can read more about this feature here.

IAM Overhaul

We tightened up many things within IAM that allows you to easily navigate it. This includes a main dashboard with tabs for Groups, Policies, Roles, and Users. It also includes a side bar to look at each resource without having to jump between pages.

Below you can see an example of looking at the CI group.

Quick Account Select

We added back in the quick navigation of accounts in the top section of the account detail. Now, you don't have to go back to the home page to switch accounts. You can now also quickly switch between regions.

Conclusion

Version 3 has been a major upgrade to the system, and we think you will find it most useful and easier to navigate.
